      Contest Rules
      Contest Rules
Welcome to Brain Builders Contest Forum! Make sure to follow the rules below. Forum Etiquette - Be nice and encouraging! If you are checking out other peoples progress, give compliments and good feedback. We are all inventing and building together! All inappropriate comments and behavior will disqualify you from the contest and will lead to the removal of your forum privilege. Posting your project - Follow these steps to create your contest post! Create a post! This is your project post where you will be tracking progress and uploading pictures and videos for us to see. Make sure to add your first and last name and project name. For example "Bobby Lee's Amazing Contraption". Introduce your self in the very first post and tell us about you! For example: "Hi everybody! My name is Bobby Lee and I am 10 years old. I love to build and invent things. Check back often as I will be posting pictures of my project!" You can also post a picture of yourself or create a video introduction. Let us know your plans! Get a general plan started. Let us know your goal and what you are thinking about doing. You can also post any blueprint project pictures that you have drawn out or you can even upload videos of yourself explaining it! Start inventing! Get those creative hands started on your project! Make sure to take pictures and/or videos. Post your progress along with an explanation of what you are doing. Are you finished? If you are finished, show off your completed project and let everybody know that you have completed it. Post a picture and/or video of your project. You can say something like, "I finally completed my project! I like it a lot and I hope you do too! Check out the pictures and videos below." Judging - All the contest have different completion deadlines. Make sure you check out the individual contest guidelines in each contest forum. After the deadline, judging happens. Winners will be announced 1-2 weeks after the deadline. Winners will be announced in the project forum and on our social media pages. Once winners are announced we will be reaching out to the winners to collect some information so we can send you your prizes! HAVE FUN! - Have fun and learn! Get your family involved and show your project off to them first. They might be able to help and give you some ideas too! Need help or have questions? - We try our best to help you out if you have questions. Our teachers are constantly checking and reading your posts. Also check out the "HELP" forum. You can also post questions there!
